help protect the Internet Community in general. While this AUP
is not carved in stone, flagrant and/or repeated violations of the
AUP will not be tolerated.

Unlimited usage means as long as you are physically using your
computer you are not restricted by time limits. When you are not
using the internet, please disconnect from ComBase as this provides
better service for other ComBase subscribers. Long
periods of inactivity or auto-checking email when no one is using
the computer is considered network damaging and is strictly prohibited.
ComBase monitors all accounts for time logged on and active/inactive
periods.

Any activity that may cause problems along the ComBase Network,
and/or inhibit the ability of other ComBase users to use the ComBase
Network or the Internet is strictly prohibited.
Impersonation:
Attempting to impersonate the identity of another person on the
Internet by using forged e-mail or news headers, or other identifying
information is prohibited. The use of anonymous remailers and
anonymous news posters does not constitute Impersonation.
Privacy:
Any attempts to gain access to a computer system or customer's
data without consent, whether successful or not, is strictly prohibited.

Commercial E-Mail:
Sending unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE), also called SPAM,
is prohibited. Using your ComBase account to collect responses
from any UCE or SPAM is also prohibited.
Mail Bombing, Harassment etc:
Sending large amounts of e-mail to the same recipient, also called
mail bombing is prohibited. Additionally, sending abusive, threatening,
or otherwise harassing e-mail after being asked to cease by the
recipient is also prohibited. Sending extremely threatening or
harassing e-mail is always prohibited.

Posting the same article multiple times, or across multiple groups
in excess is called SPAMMING. Spamming of News Groups is prohibited.
The general rule is to post a single article to no more than 15
different groups.
Off-Topic Posts:
Typically, there is no restriction on the content of a UseNet
